The Outer Space Men have landed! Well, to be more precise, they are landing tomorrow, on the blockchain as NFTs.

As announced last month, Apex Comics Group and Deadpool co-creator Fabian Nicieza have partnered with Liquid Avatar Technologies’ Oasis Digital Studios to reimagine The Outer Space Men for a new integrated product and media program, which officially launches tomorrow. The new non-fungible tokens (NFTs) will be available on the carbon-neutral Worldwide Asset eXchange (WAX) platform.

For those unfamiliar, The Outer Space Men (also known as the Colorform Aliens) have a long history in the toy and pop culture space. The collection of seven bendable action figures first debuted in 1968, produced by the Colorforms Company. Each fictional alien character in the series was inspired by a different planet in our solar system. Then, Wall Street executive Gary Schaeffer reintroduced the toy line in 2010. Now, with the support of Nicieza, the brand is getting a full, new multimedia program, which will grow to include digital and physical figures, digital trading cards, augmented reality components, and even a limited comic book run later this year.

These new NFTs are designed to honor those original Colorforms toys while introducing the full lineup of The Outer Space Men characters to modern collectors in a new medium. Here at the Pop Insider, we’ve got a first look at the NFTs that are launching tomorrow! The characters are available in different rarities, including Cosmic Radiation, Whitestar, and more. With the purchase of a $251 vIRL NFT (blind-bag), fans will also get the physical collectible (shipping included) if redeemed. Fans also have a chance of receiving an ultra-rare White Star card that gives them access to one of five action figures, each of which retails for $999 on The Outer Space Men website. There is a separate pool of six 12-inch Sofubi (soft vinyl) vIRL NFT action figures, too, for $351 each.
