Per a blog post from Binance, Cristiano Ronaldo commented:

ā€œMy football journey has seen me travel around the world, and Iā€™ve been honored to play for some of the most prestigious clubs out there. Now itā€™s your turn to join me on that journey too.ā€

The number of NFTs contained in the new collection wonā€™t be announced until the series launches and thereā€™s so far been no mention of price. However the post did state that the price will be the same for every ā€œNormal NFTā€ while pricing for the ā€œthe final Super Rare NFTā€ in the collection the collection will differ.

Previous NFT events featuring Cristiano Ronaldo have come with perks outside of the digital realm including a premium experience whereholders were invited to play football with the legend himselfas part of the Binance promotion.

As Cointelegraph reported back in November of 2023, the football superstar wassued in a class action lawsuitin a United States district court in Florida over his previous participation in NFT collection sales with Binance.

The plaintiffs in the suit claimed Ronaldo ā€œpromoted, assisted in, and/or actively participated in the offer and sale of unregistered securities in coordination with Binance,ā€ and that he should have known that Binance was involved in such activities.

The suit against Cristiano Renaldo stemmed fromBinanceā€™s previous legal issuesculminating in founder Changpeng ā€œCZā€ Zhao being found guilty in the U.S. of enabling fraud. He wassentenced in April of 2024 to serve four months in detention for his part in an alleged money laundering scheme.
