The negative publicity around NFTs and crypto have galvanized some to drop the word altogether from their marketing efforts.

The Rolling Stones Shy Away From Using the Term "NFTs" in New Project

In April, the British rock band The Rolling Stones will unveil 40 photos linked to NFTs, or non-fungible tokens. These will largely focus on “historical moments captured from various tours over the 1960s-1990s” and be priced between $199 to $300.

There’s just one catch: none of the NFTs will be officially referred to as digital collectibles or NFTs. Instead, fans can expect to receive a “Digital Certificate of Authenticity,” otherwise known as a DCOA.

The NFTs will be put out byGlobe Entertainment and Media, and the Web3 company OneOf.

As NFTs grow in popularity across the media and entertainment industries, there is a growing push to drop the NFT label altogether because of high-profile scandals, rug pulls, and scams associated with the crypto and digital collectibles industry.

Last month, the marketing for Hollywood’s latest vampire movie starring Nicolas Cage –Renfield– featured NFTs without the term "NFT" – a trend that is likely to accelerate as more people link the nascent industry with cons and swindles.

Christmas Sleigh
First Christmas-themed Visual Toy. For this work the artist has created a fantastic sleigh, ornamented in detail and with all the Christmas spirit that transports us to childhood, illusion, innocence. With its gift wrapping machinery, its Santa, a snow globe, the nutcracker, the European-style village and its soundtrack (first time with music) it is a whole Christmas mosaic for the imagination.
The Moth Catcher
In this psychologically bed-headed portrait, a creature sets in a trance; his eyes devolved and vestigal, his third eye open but hardened and in a form resembling a Sharingan. The imagery therefore expresses an awareness existing in corporeal introspection. The creature’s mind sprouts, on the left side, an emerging face, grinning. To the right side of the head, red tentacles and fingers intertwine–a collaboration of invertebrate and vertebrate consciousness cooperatively handling paint brushes of the sort used to build an oil painting. The neck and throat bristle with random thorns, as from a rose or the upper portions of a beak sprouting from its flesh. The neck itself disassociates into layers of membranous material, terminating upon an abstracted base of convoluted forms composing its body. The nose is virtually non existent, more a sinus reiterative of the shape of the third eye. Set against the exposed teeth peering out of thick, meaty cheeks, a skeleton-like impression results. That impression sets behind a visceral set of lips and tongue, which is the creature’s prime seat of awareness. Sensual, organic, the tongue organ hangs, meaty, and with consciousness of a sea cucumber. It illuminates at the tip, drawing the attraction of a nearby moth–with mystery of purpose.

Calm Thoughts
Here's the deal. I'm an artist, I have been since my mum pulled me off the sofa I was colouring in... Speaking of wild children... in a couple of weeks I will have my first own one. Very likely last too as the journey has put me into hospital individual care for the past few months. While I had high stroke risk for weeks now and my cheeky kidneys went on strike it was almost impossible to create and thus, keep my mind at ease. ...try be at ease with a blood pressure of 210... I revisited this image I captured last year in spring which gave me a sense of hanging on, breathing and hoping and the prospect of putting it onto the blockchain makes my heart and the chunky baby's heart skip a beat
