Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg on Thursday said Instagram support for NFTs is expanding tomore than 100 countries. The feature will let artists, businesses and others across Africa, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and the Americas share NFTs on Instagram,Meta said in a blog post.

Instagrambegan testing NFTs in May, allowing a handful of US-based artists and collectors to share NFTs on the social media platform. AnNFT, or nonfungible token, is a blockchain-based technology used to determine ownership of unique digital or physical items such as art, music or even a tweet. NFTs began popping up everywhere in 2021, with some NFTs going forhundreds of thousandsor evenmillionsof dollars.

On Thursday, the company said it was also adding wallet support for Coinbase Wallet and Dapper, which join third-party wallets including Rainbow, MetaMask and Trust Wallet. People must connect a supported digital wallet to Instagram in order to share an NFT on the social network.

In honor of the expansion, Zuckerberg said in a Facebook post that he would be creating an NFT from his Little League baseball card. "In honor of expanding digital collectible NFTs to 100 more countries on Instagram and launching new integrations with Coinbase and Dapper, I'm sharing my soon-to-be NFT old little league baseball card, which someone recently found and sent to me," he wrote.

Auto-Erotic Sphinx with Toys
In this image, a giant sphinx spoons itself in erotic play within an aquatic styled environment littered by various denizens. These creatures include symbols and archetypes both current and nostalgic–each inhabiting a rootedness within mass cultural adolescence. Among the roster are Servbots, video game inspired mushrooms, a Pacman-like creature, a distant sea faring rubber duck, creatures sporting the symbols reminiscent of popular anime, and a Pokemon-like rabbit (a novel incarnation of Ganesha indicated by the Shiva trident on its nose). In addition, a few sea creatures partly inspired by sea monsters of western antiquity conglomerate along the mid left side of the composition. The Sphinx itself is an amalgam of aquatic, fetishist, ancient Egyptian, and 80’s style adornments, both living, as in a clown fish, or material, such as a cassette tape. Nautically colored antennae receive somatic signals from the atmosphere, perhaps from the 8 Ball moon or giant ringed planet beyond.
Granite Tiger
Oh hi! I'm Granite Tiger. My friends describe me as tantalizing and despicable. When my owner isn't watching, I steal their oversized sweaters and use them for litter paper. I'm not sorry. We can be friends, but keep the ultra purrsonal stuff to yourself, please.
