The second imagined space in the series. Created during the lockdown period whilst being confined to the same place every day, this piece is part of a series of imaginary places that I dreamed of being able to work from.

Cosmic Chess is a playable artwork that will evolve in time as the game progresses. More than 15 years ago, Tor onion services were brought to digital life. An ecosystem of onions has been blooming ever since. Continuing the exploration of well known algorithms, this work delves into pixel sorting. The works of several cubists were first averaged with custom averaging software and then sorted with a bespoke pixel sorting algorithm. All tools were written in javascript, for masochistic reasons.
