SudoRare, anNFTplatform that forked from SudoSwap and LooksRare, is just the latest crypto projectto run offwith users' funds. The project also deleted all of its social media accounts Tuesday morning.

Many in the Crypto Twitter community were skeptical, with 2shabbytweetingon Monday that SudoRare could be a scam, “Don’t participate unless you want to take the risk of losing your money. This team is [anonymous], won’t dox [disclose their identities], and the possibility of this being a scam is high.”

Another Twitter user 0xStanec had a high degree ofsuspicion, saying, “This Is like a 1,001% scam project that noobs will fall for it.”

SudoRare was an automated market maker platform and NFT marketplace, advertising staking opportunities for assets like WrappedEthereum(wETH), LOOKS, and XMON. LOOKS is the native token behind LooksRare, itselfa fork of the leading NFT marketplace OpenSea.

Six hours after going live, almost 1 million LOOKS tokens were swapped into 154.5 Ethereum and another 230.6 LOOKS tokens into USD Coin (USDC),confirmedon Etherscan.

All 519 ETH was then moved off the platform, valued at $815,000 at the time of writing.

Funds were sent to three different addresses to drain both the funds, with any trace of the project removed, accordingto PeckShieldAlert on Twitter.

NFT platforms on high alert

Despite the natural anonymity of the industry, there are ways for both platforms and investors to protect themselves.

Solana’s NFT marketplace Magic Eden rolled out a policy that required minters todox themselvesto the platform as part of an improvement plan after two high-profile rug pulls plagued the marketplace.

In light of the latest Sudorare event, SeaCows NFT, another decentralized NFT AMM platform, tweeted: “This sucks. Do your own research and hold teams to high security and transparency standards.”

animalis polyedae I
The Story This particular bird was documented by an artist at a time when photography did not exist. This documentation helps to describe a species of animal that may have just been seen for the first time on an expedition. I have transformed parts of its body into a kaleidocycle. A mathematical form that is something like a geometric law. The exciting moment of discovering a species is combined with a rational thought structure. The Process My collages are based on historical drawings of animals, either from early scientific expeditions or natural history studies. Using image processing, I transform individual parts of the drawn animal bodies into geometric shapes. In a final step, I combine the original drawing and the polyhedron to create a hybrid new animal.

The artwork will be one state at auction before the election, and after the results of the election are known, will forever change to reflect a Trump or Biden win. PLEASE FUCKING NOTE: If trump wins, this token will change to that video of sexy boi king trump stomping through hell FOREVER. Auto-Erotic Sphinx with Toys
In this image, a giant sphinx spoons itself in erotic play within an aquatic styled environment littered by various denizens. These creatures include symbols and archetypes both current and nostalgic–each inhabiting a rootedness within mass cultural adolescence. Among the roster are Servbots, video game inspired mushrooms, a Pacman-like creature, a distant sea faring rubber duck, creatures sporting the symbols reminiscent of popular anime, and a Pokemon-like rabbit (a novel incarnation of Ganesha indicated by the Shiva trident on its nose). In addition, a few sea creatures partly inspired by sea monsters of western antiquity conglomerate along the mid left side of the composition. The Sphinx itself is an amalgam of aquatic, fetishist, ancient Egyptian, and 80’s style adornments, both living, as in a clown fish, or material, such as a cassette tape. Nautically colored antennae receive somatic signals from the atmosphere, perhaps from the 8 Ball moon or giant ringed planet beyond.
