20/08/2021 NFTQT.com releases The NFT Whale Directory featuring 50+ NFT Whales and Top NFT Buyers

MADISON, Wis.Aug. 18, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- VNM USA reveals a report from NFTQT.com called The NFT Whale Directory: 50+ Top NFT Buyers & Whales. The directory compiles the biggest spenders in NFTs, making it easier to follow the NFT trends that whales are setting.

"We started The NFT Whale Directory purely out of interest. I kept seeing the same usernames buying up high priced pieces and wanted some way to track this activity. The NFT Whale Directory compiles links to their collections, notable purchases, and social media. It puts a face to the name of all the multi-million-dollar NFT sales that have made headlines," said Ryan Cowdrey, Chief Editor at NFTQT.com

The NFT Whale Directory is made for newbies that want to see who the NFT trend-setters are, NFT Artists looking for buyers, and anyone who is fascinated by the amount of money being spent on NFTs and wants to see who these people are behind the headlines.

You can view The NFT Whale Directory here.

"99% of us wouldn't be collecting NFTs if it weren't for the NFT Whales. They brought mass attention to NFTs with their big purchases. They demonstrated that there is value in a digital file. And everyday they create markets for lesser-known NFT projects. We owe gratitude to the NFT Whales and I think the directory is a start," said QuHarrison Terry, author of The NFT Handbook.

The criteria for making it into The NFT Whale Directory is either having purchased an NFT listed on the Top 100 NFT Sales of All Time or an NFT collection valued above $500,000.

If there's someone you think is a whale but not featured in the directory, then you can submit an addition to The NFT Whale Directory here: https://inevitab.ly/whales

Cypher::Prophet
Cypher::Prophet is an artwork dedicated to the punk origins of blockchain designed and realized by hackatao and hex6c. In the transposition into images we started from the iconographic canons of the hacker (hoodie, laptop, cryptographic elements) and associated them with the figure of the prophet, thus highlighting the predictive nature of the works of Eric Hughes (Cypherpunk Manifesto, 1988) and Timothy C. May (Crypto Anarchist Manifesto, 1993) as well as of the blockchain inventors Stuart Haber and Scott Stornetta (How to Time-Stamp a Digital Document, The Journal of Cryptography, 1991). Budite
Moonfae are a race of outlandish creatures in the world of The Beacon. Settlers named them so because of their otherworldy nature and their apparent relation to the moon.

The Harvest
An anthropomorphic figure stands, wide eyed, staring at the viewer; its body masculine, muscular, and humanoid. Its “mind” dissociates into a conglomerate of structures resembling feathers, grain, teeth–as well as a radial flower “node”, casting linear rays throughout the composition. To his left, a vat of bodies gesture and writhe in a kind of amniotic soup, attended by a video game robot. The bot's red display reads “uWu”. Behind the robot and filling the left side of the composition is an archaic figure composed of a variety of vintage objects and symbols. Among them are a hardbound book with ancient cuneiform scripts, indicating barley, beer, bread, ox, house, and sky, behind which is a grimacing, salivating jagged toothed maw; and an old Commodore floppy drive. The figure’s head tilts toward an illuminated crescent moon, suggesting the Egyptian Sacred Bull. The archaic figure is composed of a variety of mutating cells, which shift in color, and pattern; eventually breaking free into an ephemeral broadcast of bubbles which move across the background. The work came into being against a psychological introspection, which included associations to pop culture such as alien abduction and pod people, as well as quite a bit of reflection on grains as a symbol of civilization, agriculture, sustenance, life, and imbibing (mainly whiskies).
